Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active or pending Registered Nurse license in the state of Virginia
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg or related acute care nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• RDMS certification required
• Strong clinical skills with experience supporting adult, geriatric, and mixed patient populations
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and every other weekend
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital environment

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality bedside nursing care to Med/Surg patients
• Monitor patient conditions, assess changes, and communicate updates to the care team
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support patient recovery
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record
• Support a safe, patient-centered care environment
