Job Requirements

• Active or pending Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Virginia
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg or related acute care experience
• RDMS certification
• BLS certification
• Experience with general abdomen, routine vascular, small parts, pelvic, and OB preferred
• RVT experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work day shift nursing hours in a collaborative hospital setting
• Strong communication, adaptability, and patient-focused care skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality Med/Surg nursing care to patients across a diverse patient population
• Monitor patient conditions, document findings, and communicate changes in status promptly
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and provider orders
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support positive patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate charting and uphold unit standards for quality and safety
• Support a positive patient experience through compassionate, attentive bedside care
• Adapt to unit needs while maintaining professionalism and reliability throughout the assignment
