Description

American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg RN with 2+ years of experience and Epic proficiency for a fast-paced, high-acuity unit.

Details

  • Medical Surgical unit within a hospital setting
  • High acuity, fast-paced environment
  • Adult and geriatric patient population
  • Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours (6:45 AM to 7:15 PM)
  • Floating to other units as needed
  • Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

  • Active RN license (LA or Compact) currently in hand
  • BLS certification required (AHA)
  • Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required
  • Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

  • May be assigned to an Emergency Team during declared emergency events, requiring on-site presence until relief arrives
  • Must be willing to work 2 of 4 designated holiday periods annually (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)
  • Candidates must reside 65+ miles from the facility to be considered
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
