Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift travel position in a rehabilitation unit requiring at least 1 year of acute care experience.

Details

  • Rehabilitation unit within a Medical Surgical Combination department
  • 10-bed unit with a 5:1 patient ratio
  • Adult and geriatric patient population including orthopedic, neurologic, cardiovascular, stroke, amputation, and traumatic brain injury cases
  • Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • Every other weekend required (Fri/Sat nights)
  • No on-call requirements
  • Occasional floating to Med/Surg as needed by the hospital
  • Uses Omnicell equipment and Meditech EHR

Requirements

  • Active WA or compact RN license required
  • Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience required
  • CCRN preferred but not required
  • Rehabilitation experience including GG scoring documentation preferred
  • Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
  • AHA certifications required
  • Active Nursys licensure verification required at time of consideration

Additional Information

  • Provide nursing care within a collaborative, team-oriented rehabilitation unit
  • Scrub color is flexible
  • Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
  • Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
  • Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
