Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday) required; weekdays flexible

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 25-bed Medical/Surgical unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 6:1 on nights
• Perform and document thorough patient assessments using strong clinical judgment
• Administer medications via IV pumps and utilize Pyxis medication dispensing cabinets
• Perform procedures including IV placement and foley catheter insertion
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic health records system
• Adhere to patient experience standards including BSSR protocols and hourly rounding

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Tennessee or compact state eligibility
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
• Proficiency with IV pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
• Strong patient assessment skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification
• Experience with remote telemetry monitoring and telehealth equipment
• Familiarity with Meditech documentation system
