Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on an Orthopedic and Medical Surgical unit, managing a patient load at a typical ratio of 6:1
• Utilize Meditech for clinical documentation and patient record management
• Collaborate with PCTs, SNEs, and unit secretaries to deliver team-based, patient-centered care
• Float to inpatient units to take patients, and assist with tasks in the CCU and ED as needed
• Support and participate in bedside procedures performed by physicians as required
• Adhere to facility dress code and unit-specific guidelines throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in good standing
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
• Proficiency with Meditech or comparable electronic health record system preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage a patient load, apply teamwork strategies, and deliver patient-centered care

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an Orthopedic or Medical Surgical inpatient setting
• Familiarity with floating across inpatient units including CCU and ED environments
• Experience working alongside PCTs and support staff in a collaborative unit structure
