Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 44-bed Medical Surgical unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5, with potential for 1:6
• Monitor telemetry patients in coordination with a dedicated monitoring unit
• Float as needed to all acute care areas, cardiology (to manage medical patients), and the EC for acute care patient holds
• Collaborate with CNA support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care delivery
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Maintain compliance with all unit protocols, including BLS (AHA) and NIHSS (AHA) certification standards

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing
• BLS certification required – must be American Heart Association (AHA)
• NIHSS certification required – must be American Heart Association (AHA)
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• At least 1 prior travel assignment required
• Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility (as indicated on a valid driver's license) to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred but not required
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring in a Medical Surgical setting
• Experience floating across multiple acute care units
