Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience caring for adult and geriatric patients in a medical-surgical setting
• Strong teamwork mindset with the ability to take ownership of patient care
• Comfortable floating as needed within the facility
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and rotating weekends

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to Medical-Surgical patients
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to support positive patient outcomes
• Document care accurately in the Meditech EHR system
• Support patient and family education throughout the care process
• Maintain professionalism while contributing to a positive, team-focused unit culture
• Float to other areas as needed based on staffing and patient care needs
