**Join Our High-Energy Med-Surg Team!** **Job Description:** - **Unit Information:** - **Number of Beds:** 36 - **Staffing:** 40 RNs (8 bedside RNs per shift) - **Night Shift:** 8 RNs - **Patient Ratios:** - 1:5 - **State-of-the-Art Equipment:** - Bariatric fitted ADLs - Wound Vacs - Drains - Lifts - **EMR System:** - Meditech - **Ideal Candidate Profile:** - **Must Have:** - Time Management and Efficiency (Fast-paced unit with short LOS) - Strong Teamwork Skills - **Preferred Skills:** - Background in post-op surgical areas (e.g., vascular, bariatric, urology, colorectal) - **Typical Procedures:** - Maintenance of post-operative surgical sites - Wound care (packing, dressing changes, wound vac maintenance) - Foley Catheter care (Continuous bladder irrigation) - Ostomy appliance changing and maintenance - Nasogastric Tube insertion and suction - TPN administration - Blood Administration - Central Line Care and dressing changes - Bedside Shift Report - **Best Personality Fit:** - Outgoing - Customer Service Oriented - **Required Certifications:** - BLS - **Floating Area(s):** - Medical-Surgical Units - **Dress Code:** - Scrubs: Black, Grey, White, Royal Blue - **Unit Guidelines/Policies:** - Prompt Attendance - Open Communication - Professional Appearance - Attentive and Responsive to Patient Needs Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
