Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring 3+ years of experience and prior orthopedic patient care.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting on a Medical Surgical Combination unit specializing in Ortho
• 18-bed unit with a 1:6 patient ratio serving all ages
• Uses Medhost Clinician Experience EHR
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• On-call as needed
• Floating to Rehab and ICU required

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• 3+ years of RN experience required
• Experience caring for orthopedic patients required
• Must be checked against the Tennessee Abuse Registry prior to assignment start

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care within a Medical Surgical unit with an orthopedic patient focus
• Work under the supervision of the Medical Surgical Director
• Professional demeanor expected; casual attire not permitted, though any scrub color is acceptable
• Facility is a 99-bed acute care hospital and accredited chest pain center located about 1.5 hours from Nashville
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel assignment
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time during the assignment
