• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Schedule: 3 weekend shifts per month
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,680 - $1,770
• Unit Size: 20 beds
• Patient Ratio: 1:6
• On Call: Not required
• Floating: Agency/contract nurses float first as needed

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Experience with nephrology, kidney transplants, renal care, or dialysis preferred
• Strong communication, teamwork, and time-management skills
• Comfortable using Meditech or similar electronic health record systems

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to adult Med/Surg patients in an inpatient acute care setting
• Monitor patient conditions, assess changes, and respond appropriately
• Administer medications and treatments according to clinical protocols
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support patient outcomes
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record
• Support patients with nephrology-related needs, including transplant and renal-focused care
• Maintain excellent communication with patients, families, and team members
• Adapt to floating assignments within the agency contract workflow when needed
