• Position: Med/Surg RN / Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse

• Shift: 12-hour nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Schedule: Every other weekend required
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,620 - $1,700

Job Requirements

• Active Compact or Alabama RN license
• Current BLS certification
• At least 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Cerner experience preferred
• Travel nurses must live more than 50 miles from the assignment location
• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to work effectively on night shift
• Reliable communication, professionalism, and adaptability in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, patient-centered care to Med/Surg patients in an inpatient hospital setting
• Monitor patient status, assess changes, and respond appropriately to clinical needs
• Administer medications and treatments according to care plans, physician orders, and hospital protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and follow hospital policies and procedures
• Provide support for a patient ratio of approximately 6:1
• Contribute to a positive unit culture while working scheduled night shifts and every-other-weekend rotations
