Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of 5 years of Med/Surg nursing experience
• Strong experience caring for adult and geriatric patients
• Ability to float when needed
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to take ownership of the role
• Comfort working in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Experience with Meditech or similar electronic health record (EHR) systems preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to Med/Surg patients
• Monitor patient conditions, assess changes, and promptly escalate concerns as needed
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the EHR
• Support a calm, professional, and organized patient care environment
• Provide care with a focus on patient safety, communication, and teamwork
