Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position requiring a minimum of 5 years of experience and AL or compact RN licensure.

Details

  • Work on a Medical Surgical Combination unit in a hospital setting
  • 18-bed unit caring for adult and geriatric patients
  • Patient ratio of 1:6
  • Uses Meditech EHR
  • Day shift schedule, 7a-7p
  • Rotating weekend requirements
  • No call requirements
  • Floating required

Requirements

  • Active RN license (AL or compact) currently in hand
  • BLS certification required
  • AHA certifications required
  • Minimum of 5 years of Med-Surg nursing experience required
  • Med-Surg clinical experience required

Additional Information

  • Team-oriented role requiring ownership and strong collaboration skills
  • Royal blue scrub color required
  • Weekly Monday orientations
  • Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rate
  • Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
  • Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
