Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring an active AL or compact RN license and 5 years of experience.

Details

  • Medical Surgical combination unit in an acute care hospital setting
  • 18-bed unit caring for adult and geriatric patients
  • Patient ratio of 1:6
  • Uses Meditech EHR
  • Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • Rotating weekend requirement
  • Every other weekend coverage expected
  • Floating required
  • No call requirements

Requirements

  • Active RN license (AL or compact) required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Minimum 5 years of RN experience required
  • Med/Surg nursing experience required
  • AHA certifications required

Additional Information

  • Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric Med/Surg patients
  • Work alongside a team-oriented staff and take ownership of patient care responsibilities
  • Royal blue scrubs required
  • Monday orientation schedule
  • Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility
  • Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
  • Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
