Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position requiring an active NC or compact RN license and 2+ years of experience.

Details

• Work in the Medical Surgical Combination unit of an 86-bed acute care hospital
• 24-bed unit with a 1:6 patient ratio
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment
• Weekend rotation required every other or every third weekend
• Floating required based on unit rotation
• No on-call requirements
• Uses Paragon EHR system

Requirements

• Active RN license (NC or compact) required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)
• Minimum 2+ years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Medical Surgical competencies required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct nursing care to adult medical surgical patients across a variety of diagnoses
• Work under the supervision of the unit's nurse manager
• Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
