Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience
• Cardiac and telemetry knowledge with strong EKG rhythm identification skills
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Comfort working with cardiac drips and telemetry monitoring
• Experience with Meditech preferred
• Ability to work night shifts and participate in weekend rotation

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to a cardiac Med/Surg patient population
• Monitor telemetry patients and identify rhythm changes promptly
• Administer and manage medications and drips within scope and unit protocols
• Collaborate with charge nurses, PCTs, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record
• Respond to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns appropriately
• Maintain professionalism while supporting a positive patient experience
