**Join Our Dynamic Team as a MedSurg/Oncology RN!** **Job Description:** - **Unit Information:** - Number of Beds: 31 - Patient Ratios: 1:5/6 - Type of Equipment: Standard med surg, some traction - **Qualifications:** - **Must Have:** - BLS Certification - Post-Surgical Care Experience - 2+ Years of Hospital Experience - **Preferred:** - ACLS Certification - ONC Chemo Experience - Meditech Experience - Oncology or Med Surg Certification (Preferred, not required) - **Typical Procedures:** - General Med Surg - Oncology Chemo Administration - Neutropenia Precautions - Post-Operative Care - Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI) - Hospice Care - **Best Personality Fit:** - Team Player - Compassionate and Empathetic - Strong Communication Skills - **Dress Code:** - **Scrub Color:** - RN: Royal Blue - **Nail Policy:** Clean and Healthy; no artificial nails, gel, or next-gen. - **Hair:** Neat and clean; no extreme styles or colors. Long hair must be pulled back. - **Tattoos:** Body art should be covered whenever possible. - **Piercings:** No visible piercings other than ears. - **Unit Guidelines/Policies:** - Floating Guidelines: Within Med Surg - Attendance Policies: Company-wide attendance policy is in effect.
