Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg or acute care nursing experience preferred
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• ACLS required or obtainable prior to start
• Cerner experience preferred
• Ability to work night shifts and maintain strong clinical judgment in a fast-paced hospital environment

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care to adult medical-surgical patients
• Monitor patient condition, respond to changes, and communicate appropriately with the interdisciplinary care team
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards and physician orders
• Complete assessments, chart accurately, and maintain timely clinical documentation
• Support care planning, patient education, and discharge preparation
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to promote positive patient outcomes
• Adapt to unit needs and provide reliable support throughout the travel nursing assignment
