Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN for a 13-week travel assignment on a busy ortho/spine unit, requiring at least 1 year of recent specialty experience and a TN or compact RN license.

Details

• 5 West Ortho/Spine Med-Surg unit with 26 beds
• Patient ratio of 6:1
• Unit staffed with secretary, PCTs, and Navigator support
• Uses coolers, walkers, SCDs, and CPMs for patient care
• Cares for patients recovering from knee and hip replacements and multi-level spine surgeries
• Documentation completed in Meditech
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Requires working 4 weekend shifts per schedule
• Floating required on a rotational basis

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience required
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)
• One professional reference required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Deliver compassionate, team-oriented care to orthopedic and spine surgery patients
• Navy scrubs required as part of the dress code
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
