Job Requirements

• Active Texas RN license or compact RN license required; temporary licenses are not accepted
• BLS and ACLS required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg or Med-Tele experience required
• Minimum 2 years of hospital nursing experience required
• Meditech experience preferred
• Strong teamwork, communication, and patient-centered care skills
• Experience with bedside reporting, hourly rounding, and service recovery

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to adult Med/Surg and Med-Tele patients
• Perform nursing assessments, monitor patient conditions, and report changes promptly
• Initiate IVs, manage Foley care, complete dressing changes, and assist with ADLs as needed
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support positive patient outcomes
• Deliver excellent patient experiences through AIDET, bedside reporting, hourly rounding, and service recovery
• Follow facility policies, documentation standards, and nursing practice expectations
• Maintain professionalism in appearance, communication, and patient interactions
