Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification required
• Cerner experience required
• Must have a permanent address more than 50 miles from the facility
• Ability to work night shift schedules and alternating weekends
• Strong communication skills and a team-focused mindset

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to Med/Surg patients in an acute care hospital setting
• Monitor patient conditions, assess changes, and escalate concerns as needed
• Administer medications and treatments according to the plan of care
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support patient outcomes
• Document care accurately in the electronic medical record (Cerner)
• Maintain patient safety standards and support a positive care environment
• Manage a patient assignment consistent with a 6:1 ratio
