Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Med/Surg

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiac Med/Surg team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures, ensuring their comfort, safety, and overall well-being during their stay.

Shift Details

• Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs in the cardiac med/surg setting.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medication and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding post-operative care and health management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
• Adhere to established protocols, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, specifically in a cardiac med/surg unit.
• Current RN license in good standing.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
