Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit in accordance with facility protocols and standards of practice
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered, monitoring patients for responses and adverse effects
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver safe, effective patient care
  • Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record
  • Maintain a safe patient environment and adhere to all infection control and regulatory compliance standards

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Utah or compact licensure eligibility
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent Medical/Surgical nursing experience
  • Current BLS certification
  • Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical/Surgical setting
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems used in acute care environments
  • ACLS certification
