Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Medical Surgical Unit. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in med-surg or acute care settings, demonstrating exceptional patient care skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients requiring post-surgical recovery, including those undergoing procedures like cholecystectomy and cystoscopy with stent placements.
• Implement pain management techniques and monitor patients with CIWA protocols.
• Administer medications and maintain accurate patient records using Meditech EMR.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of Texas.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of med-surg or acute care experience is preferred.
• Prior experience with HCA is a plus.
