Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license
• Current BLS certification
• 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience preferred
• Travel nurse experience preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Ability to care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Strong assessment, prioritization, and documentation skills
• Comfort working nights, weekends, and in a dynamic acute care setting

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to Medical Surgical patients with varying acuity levels
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions accurately and thoroughly in Epic
• Manage common Med/Surg diagnoses including sepsis, COPD, AKI, post-op care, diabetes, respiratory failure, and isolation precautions
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and best practices
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient recovery and discharge planning
• Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns as needed
• Maintain a professional, team-oriented approach in a busy acute care hospital environment
• Float as needed based on competency and unit needs
