Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Cardiac Med/Surg unit in an acute care setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for cardiac and medical-surgical patients
• Monitor patient status, interpret cardiac rhythms, and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate safe and effective patient care
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Tennessee (or compact license eligibility)
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg or Cardiac nursing experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Prior travel nursing experience or ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a cardiac-focused Med/Surg or step-down unit
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced acute care environment
