Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical – Pocatello, ID 83201

Start Date: August 31, 2026

Location: Pocatello, Idaho

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM). Weekend coverage required (2 shifts per pay period, flexible with department needs). Patient ratio 1:6. 24-hour orientation provided.

Highlights:

• 13-week travel assignment in a 48-bed Medical/Surgical unit with diverse patient population
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Treat a wide variety of patient diagnoses including sepsis, COPD, post-operative care, trauma, cardiac conditions, diabetes, and more
• Epic charting system with robust clinical resources and interpretation services available
• Opportunity to utilize advanced skills including central line management, chest tubes, wound vac, tracheostomy care, and blood product administration
• Float opportunities available based on competencies

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of application)
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with 1:6 patient ratios
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Must reside outside 100-mile radius from the area
• Ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
