GLC On-The-Go is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Orangeburg, South Carolina.

Shift: 3x12s Days (6:45a-7:15p)
Ratios: 1:6
Weekend REQ: Every other weekend

Will this traveler need to float within scope to meet facility needs/float between like units/sister facilities? Yes.
Required/Preferred Years of experience REQ: 1 year
First-timers accepted: Yes
License REQ: SC license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
Certs REQ: BLS (American Heart Association (AHA) accepted)
Certs Preferred: ACLS
Experience REQ: Experience with Wound Vacs, Chest Tubes, Surgical Dressings
Experience Preferred: Previous Charge Experience
Miscellaneous: Open to accommodating block schedule? Approval prior to assignment but not guaranteed.
Local Radius: 60 miles
Locals Accepted: Yes, on a case-by-case basis at 10% less the posted bill rate
RTO Restrictions for Client Offers: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs
Guaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.
Attendance Policy: The facility has an attendance policy for travelers. If more than two shifts per 13-week contract are missed without medical documentation or reasonable explanation subject to facility discretion, contract will be reviewed for cancellation.
Hospital Highlights:
Hurricane Season: Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm a NEW or EXT assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.
