Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel position in the Med/Surg unit. This role involves providing high-quality patient care on the 5 East unit, ensuring a safe and effective healing environment for all patients.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes and communicating with the healthcare team.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families on health management and treatment options.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Med/Surg setting.
  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Strong assessment, clinical decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.

Shift Details

This position requires night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
