Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a temporary position in the nursing field. This role is primarily focused on providing patient care during night shifts on weekends. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to high-quality nursing practice and patient-centered care.

Position Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Nights (7 PM - 7 AM) Friday to Sunday

Qualifications

• Active Alabama or Multistate Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of 3 years of recent experience in Medical-Surgical nursing
• Must reside 50 or more miles from the facility

Responsibilities

The Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for the following:

• Providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical unit
• Assessing patient conditions and implementing appropriate nursing interventions
• Collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
