Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for an 8-week assignment. This position involves working night shifts with alternating weekends, providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment.

Position Details

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Shift: Nights (7 PM - 7 AM) with alternating weekends

Responsibilities

The Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for:

  • Delivering patient-centered care in a medical surgical unit.
  • Monitoring patient conditions and responding to changes as necessary.
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.

Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Experience with Cerner software is preferred.
  • Must have a permanent address located more than 50 miles from the facility.
  • Patient-to-nurse ratio of up to 6:1.

This position is located in a facility in the vicinity of City, State.
