Job Details

• Position: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical-Surgical / Med-Surg
• Location: Dallas, TX 75230
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule period
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,350 - $1,420
• Setting: Medical-surgical / acute care hospital
• EMR: Meditech
• Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing or acute care experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Strong time management, prioritization, and clinical assessment skills
• Experience caring for patients with neurological conditions such as TIA, stroke, and epilepsy preferred
• ACLS certification preferred
• Ability to float to other acute care units as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, patient-centered care to adult Med/Surg patients
• Monitor patient status, assess changes, and respond with timely nursing interventions
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support positive outcomes
• Document assessments, treatments, and patient progress accurately in the EMR
• Support patients with neurological and other acute care needs in accordance with unit standards
• Maintain effective communication, flexibility, and teamwork in a fast-paced hospital environment
