• Position: Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (Med/Surg RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Location: Dallas, TX 75230
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule period
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,350 to $1,420
• Unit Size: 23 beds
• Charting System: Meditech
• Floating: All acute care areas, including med surg, general surgery, renal transplant, telemetry, neuro, and ortho

Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Strong time management, prioritization, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to provide safe, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced acute care setting
• Comfort with floating to additional hospital units as needed
• Experience working night shifts preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality bedside care to adult medical-surgical patients
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Monitor patient status and communicate changes promptly to the healthcare team
• Administer medications and treatments according to established nursing protocols
• Collaborate with RNs, patient care technicians, and interdisciplinary team members
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
• Support patient safety, unit flow, and efficient care delivery
• Float to other acute care areas when assigned
