Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift travel assignment in Dallas, requiring at least 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience and BLS certification.

Details

• Assignment on a 23-bed Diabetic/Endocrine Med-Surg unit
• Unit staffed with 6 RNs and 1-2 PCTs per shift
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Uses Meditech EMR
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment
• 4 weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule period
• Floating required to all acute care areas including med surg, general surg, renal transplant, telemetry, neuro, and ortho

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience required
• Strong time management skills required
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two required for FL and MO candidates)
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide general med-surg nursing care on a diabetic/endocrine unit
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates will not be considered
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
