Med/Surg Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Oklahoma
• At least 1 year of recent adult medical-surgical nursing experience
• Strong patient assessment, prioritization, communication, and clinical judgment skills
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in an on-site hospital setting
• Commitment to patient safety, professional nursing standards, and collaborative care

Medical-Surgical RN Responsibilities

• Assess adult medical-surgical patients and develop individualized nursing diagnoses and care plans
• Provide comprehensive nursing care throughout the patient care continuum
• Monitor patient conditions, recognize changes in status, and communicate concerns promptly
• Administer treatments and medications in accordance with clinical standards and established plans of care
• Coordinate care with physicians, ancillary services, nursing colleagues, patients, and families
• Provide leadership and contribute to high standards of professional nursing practice
• Support safe, compassionate patient care across a range of ages and clinical needs
