Travel Med/Surg–PCU–Telemetry RN – 13-Week Contract
We’re seeking an experienced Med/Surg–PCU–Telemetry RN for an exciting travel opportunity in Newport, Vermont!
Location: Newport, VT
⏳ Contract: 13 Weeks | Start: November
Shift: Nights | 7 PM–7 AM
Schedule: Every other weekend
⏰ Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs/week
️ EMR: Cerner
Holiday Coverage: Required
✅ Requirements
Active RN license required upon acceptance
Minimum 5 years of nursing experience
BLS/BCLS and ACLS certifications required
Ability to work independently and perform charge nurse duties
Willingness to float to other units, including ED and MCH, as needed
Key Responsibilities
Provide safe, comprehensive care to Med/Surg, PCU, and Telemetry patients
Monitor patients and respond to changes in clinical condition
Perform charge nurse duties and coordinate patient care
Float to other units as needed
Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with the healthcare team
