• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment

• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts
• Schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday; 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
• Holiday Requirement: Holidays as needed / holiday rotation
• Charting System: EPIC
• Setting: Acute care orthopedic / med-surg unit with telemetry support
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,930 - $2,030

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent nursing experience required
• Strong orthopedic nursing experience required
• Experience with total joint replacement patients required
• BLS certification required
• Comfort working weekend day shifts and holiday coverage
• Ability to adapt to floating within similar med-surg and orthopedic units as needed
• Prior experience with EPIC electronic medical record system preferred
• Ability to provide vaccination documentation or approved exemption if applicable

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to orthopedic and med-surg patients
• Care for patients with joint replacements, fractures, and other orthopedic conditions
• Complete comprehensive nursing assessments, monitor patient progress, and respond to changes in condition
• Collaborate with the charge nurse, nursing assistants, and the broader healthcare team
• Administer medications and support post-operative recovery and mobility goals
• Document patient care accurately in EPIC
• Support unit flow, patient safety, and effective communication across shifts
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused environment while delivering excellent patient care
