Registered Nurse - Ortho/Tele Unit

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position with a shift schedule of 12-hour days on weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, including holidays as needed.

Job Description

The Ortho/Tele Unit is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse with strong orthopedic experience, particularly in total joint replacement, to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care setting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to orthopedic patients, focusing on joints, replacements, and fractures.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Respond to changes in patient conditions and communicate effectively with healthcare team members.
  • Ensure compliance with nursing policies and regulations within the unit.
  • Participate in unit-specific orientation and training as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Active RN license in the state of practice.
  • BLS certification is required.
  • Must possess prior experience in total joint replacement and orthopedic nursing.
  • COVID-19 vaccination required; exemptions must be submitted for medical or religious reasons.
