Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for an oncology floor position requiring GA or compact RN license and at least one year of recent Med/Surg experience.

Details

  • Medical Surgical unit on an oncology floor
  • Patient ratio of 1:6 or 1:7, with experience at higher ratios required
  • Night shift, 4x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), with EOW (every other weekend) requirement
  • 3x12 schedules preferred, 4x12s will be considered
  • Block scheduling considered
  • Uses Cerner and Soarian EMR systems

Requirements

  • Active GA or compact RN license required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Telemetry and IV Start skills required
  • Minimum one year of recent Med/Surg experience required
  • Oncology experience highly preferred
  • Previous travel experience preferred
  • Cerner charting experience preferred
  • Teaching hospital experience preferred

Additional Information

  • Royal blue scrubs required (not provided)
  • Minimal to no RTO accepted, especially around holidays
  • Accepts local candidates residing 31-50 miles from the facility at a reduced local rate
  • Candidates living less than 30 miles from the facility will not be considered
