Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Oncology position requiring 2 years of current nursing experience and prior oncology background.

Details

• Adult Medical Oncology unit within a hospital setting
• 18-bed unit caring for solid tumor patients
• Acute care, Med Surg Telemetry patient population
• Day shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Orientation held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month

Requirements

• Active RN license (MD or Compact) required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of current nursing experience required
• Oncology experience required
• 1-2 prior travel assignments required
• Experience with Alaris pumps preferred
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Experience at a comparable facility size (500+ bed count) required

• Provide direct nursing care to adult oncology patients on a med surg telemetry unit
