Job Summary
A Medical Surgical Chemotherapy Certified Oncology RN is needed at an infusion clinic on the second floor of a healthcare facility. This role involves providing infusion treatments and chemotherapy care to cancer patients in a fast-paced environment, supporting patient safety and comfort throughout their treatment.

Job Details

  • Position Description: Provides nursing care in an infusion clinic specializing in chemotherapy and bio therapies, supporting patients with cancer diagnoses.
  • Required Qualifications: Certification in Chemotherapy/Bio Therapy, Bachelors degree in Nursing, current RN license, minimum of 3 years of experience, and located within the area.
  • Schedule: Dayshift, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with a guaranteed 40 hours per week.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with oncology treatments, familiarity with electronic health record systems such as ONCO and Epic, and strong patient communication skills.
  • Additional Information: The unit features 25 infusion chairs, with patient ratios typically around 10 per RN daily. The environment requires adherence to dress code of dark blue scrubs.
