Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Observation Unit role requiring at least 1 year of travel nursing experience and a FL or compact RN license.

Details

• Fast-paced 24-bed telemetry Observation Unit functioning as an extension of the Emergency Room
• Short-stay patient population with focus on hypertensive urgency, stroke work-ups, titratable cardiac drips, acute infections, cardiac work-ups, and ESRD
• Night shift schedule from 18:45-07:15
• 36-48 hour contracts acceptable
• Every other weekend work required
• Holiday coverage required per unit need

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification through AHA
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start required
• Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start required

Additional Information

• Deliver compassionate clinical care to a short-stay observation population
• Must reside outside the facility's local radius to qualify for the travel rate, though local candidates may be considered at a reduced rate
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
