Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical Neuro – Albuquerque, NM 87102

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM), 36 or 48 hours per week with overtime available after 48 hours. Six weekend shifts required within a six-week period.

Highlights:

• Medical Surgical Neuro unit with 32 beds and 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratios
• Rapid response team support with comprehensive interdisciplinary services including PT, respiratory, pharmacy, and social services
• Epic charting system with no call requirements
• First-time travelers accepted with 24-36 hours of orientation provided
• Floating to like units only as needed based on facility requirements
• 13-week assignment with up to 4 days of pre-approved time off available

Requirements:

• Active New Mexico or Compact state RN license (pending license accepted, must be obtained prior to start date)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Medical Surgical nursing experience required
• Experience with 1:6 patient ratios
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required (pending acceptable)
• CPI certification preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
