Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Float Pool RN for 12-hour day shifts, requiring NH or compact RN license and Med/Surg or Critical Care experience.

Details

• Work within Telemetry and Stepdown Units
• 12-hour day shifts, one shift per week
• May be required to float to nearby affiliated hospital locations
• No on-call responsibilities
• Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required

Requirements

• Active NH or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
• BLS required
• NIHSS required prior to start
• ACLS preferred
• Must complete a Dysrhythmia Exam during onboarding with a preferred score of 80%
• 1-2 years of Med/Surg experience required
• Critical Care RN experience considered if candidate is fluent with Med/Surg ratios and acuity

• Care for patients within Med/Surg and Telemetry/Stepdown acuity levels
• Weekly orientation schedule
• Local candidates accepted with a 50-mile radius rule for local rate determination
• Former perm staff may return as travelers after a 12-month break in service
• Three professional references required once committed, including two from leadership
