Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Cardiology RN for a Stepdown unit, requiring cardiac nursing experience and current ACLS certification.

Details

  • Stepdown unit within a Med Surgical, Cardiology department in an acute care hospital
  • Night shift or rotating shifts, 12-hour shifts
  • Scheduled for 36 or 48 hours per week
  • Required to work every other weekend (Fri/Sat/Sun) or straight weekends
  • Every other holiday coverage required
  • Floating required, with critical care experience preferred for this purpose
  • Uses EPIC EMR system

Requirements

  • Active RN license (Standard or Compact) currently in hand
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
  • Must be a cardiac nurse
  • EPIC EMR experience required
  • BSN not required

Additional Information

  • Provide nursing care to cardiac and med/surg patients in a stepdown level unit
  • Navy blue scrubs required
  • All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
  • Candidates residing within 80 miles of the facility are considered local
  • Clinicians with prior employment at this health system must have an end date at least 6 months prior to their submission date
