Job Summary:
The Ultrasound Technologist position in Maternal Fetal Medicine is based in New York, NY. This role involves performing and assisting with ultrasound examinations, providing technical support to radiologists, and maintaining ultrasound equipment. The position requires in-person interaction and is suitable for candidates with OB experience, including the ability to manage high-risk patients.
Job Details:
- Location: New York, NY
- Schedule: Day Shift, 8:30 AM 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
- Shift Hours: 7.5 hours per day
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 37.5 hours
- Required Qualifications: Certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers; minimum of 2 years as an Ultrasound Technologist; ARRT certification; knowledge of PACS, ultrasound examination procedures, ultrasound equipment operation and maintenance, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and administrative practices; ability to problem solve, make decisions, and communicate effectively; attention to detail, accuracy, and discretion; OB experience with high-risk patients, capable of capturing essential fetal views, evaluated by a Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist.
- Additional Information: The candidate must be able to perform high-risk OB ultrasound examinations and be comfortable with in-person interviews.
