Shift Information
Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with required flexibility for some weekends and availability for after-hour calls.
Unit Information
The imaging department processes approximately 13,000 cases per month, covering a wide range of imaging modalities including MRI, CT, Radiology, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, Valley Imaging, and Breast Center services.
Experience Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of overall experience in imaging.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a managerial, director, or leadership role.
- First-time travelers will not be accepted.
Patient Types and Common Diagnoses
The Interim Imaging Manager will oversee all imaging modalities and ensure high-quality patient care across various imaging services.
Required Licenses and Certifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- ARRT or ARDMS certification
- Active Washington state license
Skills and Responsibilities
- Conflict resolution between staff and addressing patient complaints.
- Effective communication with physicians and other healthcare providers.
- Budget management and oversight.
- Reviewing and approving timecards and payroll.
- Triage staff assignments for optimal coverage.
Support within the Department
- Director available via phone for assistance as needed.
- Includes supervisory support and radiology staff.
- Radiologic Technologists (RT) and Hospitalists available 24/7.
- Intensivists available 24/7.
Technology and Equipment
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: EPIC
- PACS System: Philips View
- Unit-specific collaboration tools: Microsoft Teams
Orientation and Scheduling
- One week of orientation, with ongoing support provided.
- No weekend rotation, but must be reachable after hours for staff concerns.
- No major holiday coverage expected, but availability via phone for escalations is required.
- All requests for time off must be approved through management.
