Job Summary
Mammographer specializing in digital mammography is being sought for a facility located in Oakland, California. The position involves working across multiple locations, including a mobile van service, with shifts primarily scheduled from Monday to Friday and rotating weekend shifts. Candidates must be able to float between sites and manage multiple responsibilities related to diagnostic and screening mammogram procedures, utilizing advanced equipment such as Hologic 3D systems. The role requires a minimum of two years of experience in mammography.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Shifts are scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with rotating weekend shifts including Tuesdays through Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with Mondays off.
- Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience in mammography, ARRT certification, certification from the California Department of Health Services as a Certified Radiologic Technologist, graduation from an approved Radiologic Technology program, and California State Mammography Licensure.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with digital mammography, Hologic 3D systems, inpatient and outpatient settings, and charting systems such as Epic.
- Certifications: ARRT Mammography Certification, Basic Life Support (BLS), California State Mammography Licensure.
- Additional Information: Must be able to float between multiple locations, including a mobile van unit, and work at three different sites. The candidate must have current ARRT certification, California licensure, and relevant mammography skills.
