Description

American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with active ARRT (M) certification and CA Mammography license for a 28-week travel contract in the San Diego area.

Details

• Outpatient medical office setting in the San Diego area
• Performs screening and diagnostic mammography procedures
• May float to other San Diego area facilities
• 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday
• 40 hours per week
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active CA Mammography license and ARRT (M) certification required at time of consideration — license required if applicable
• Minimum of 200 mammography studies completed within the last two years
• 15 CEUs in breast imaging completed within the last three years
• Proof of formal education program required
• Experience in both screening and diagnostic mammography required
• Experience with stereotactic biopsy and needle localizations is a plus
• Last 4 digits of SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Local candidates are accepted and eligible for the same rate as traveling candidates
• Travelers who have previously worked on assignment at this facility may not exceed two years total (with or without gaps of less than 3 months) without taking at least 90 consecutive days off between assignments
